I’m not exactly sure when I purchased this cable, but I’ve had it for over a year now and it’s still going strong. This is a fantastic cable! I have used it to charge my iPhone 8Plus, iPhone XS Max, and iPad Pro 12.9″ (3rd gen) from my MacBook Pro (15″, 2016). Since my devices are all Apple products, I was a bit hesitant to switch to a third-party charging cable, but I’m so glad that I did! This cable is much more durable than the Apple-branded Lightning cables and it’s also cheaper. I will never go back to using Apple’s Lightning cables again.
This Anker Powerline USB C to Lightning Cable is also very well-made. The connectors are solid and fit snugly into my devices. The cord is also very flexible, which makes it easy to use in tight spaces (like when you’re trying to charge your phone while it’s plugged into an outlet behind a piece of furniture). I have been an Anker customer for years. I have used their products including power strips, phone chargers, car chargers, and now this cable. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this product. The build quality is fantastic and it just feels like it will last forever. The braided nylon exterior is very sturdy and the connectors are extremely well made. I have no doubt that this will be the last Lightning cable I ever need to buy.
The 6ft length is perfect for me and I love that it is MFi certified. I have had issues in the past with non-certified cables not working properly or lasting very long and I am glad to have found a cable that I can trust.

I got this cable to use with my new iPhone 8. I was a little hesitant at first because I had never heard of the brand before, but I’m glad I gave it a try!
