This JVC receiver is awesome. It has so many features and the price was unbeatable. The installation was a breeze and the overall look and feel is very premium. I highly recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a great value!
The sound quality of this receiver is amazing. It has great highs and mids, and the bass is really punchy. I’m not a huge bass head, but I’m really impressed with how this receiver handles low frequencies. The Bluetooth connectivity is really solid and the hands-free calling feature works great.
The biggest selling point of this receiver for me is the built-in 4-volt preamp outputs. This allows me to connect an external amplifier to really boost the sound quality. I’m running a 4-channel amp to my front and rear speakers and it sounds fantastic.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with this JVC receiver. It has great features, sounds fantastic, and was a great value. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new receiver.

If you’re looking for a great in-dash receiver, the Pioneer AVH-210EX is definitely worth considering.
Kenwood Excelon KDC-X998 Single DIN CD Receiver with USB Input
Kenwood’s Excelon CD receiver delivers superior sound quality, thanks to its built-in amplifier that pumps out 55 watts RMS of power — plenty of volume to fill your car with sound. But this receiver is more than just an amp; it also has a USB port that supports Apple Music and other streaming services (subscription required). If you’re not into streaming, you can still rock out to your favorite CDs or MP3s. And for even more flexibility, the KDC-X998 has Bluetooth built in for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming.
The KDC-X998’s large display makes it easy to view information about your music, and the variable color illumination lets you match the look of your dash. You’ll also appreciate the intuitive controls and easy-to-use interface. Installation is a breeze with the included bracket and wiring harness. And when you’re ready to add more sound, you can use the preamp outputs to connect an external amplifier or a set of active subwoofers.
The XAV-AX100 is a great sounding receiver. It has plenty of power to drive my speakers and sounds very clear and detailed. The user interface is very intuitive and easy to use. The built in navigation is great, and the Apple Carplay feature is fantastic. I highly recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a great sounding, feature packed receiver.
I’ve had this unit for a little over a month now and am thoroughly impressed. I didn’t want to spend the money on one of the newer receivers with all the bells and whistles because I don’t really care about them. I just wanted something that sounded good, had bluetooth, and would be an upgrade over my previous receiver. This Sony receiver checked all those boxes and then some. It sounds fantastic. Much better than my previous receiver (Kenwood KDC-X998) which itself was no slouch. Mids are rich and detailed, highs are crisp and clear, and the bass response is excellent. I’m driving 4 Infinity Reference 6012cfp speakers up front with 4 Polk Audio db651s in the rear. There’s plenty of power to spare even when pushed pretty hard.
The built in 4 channel amplifier is rated at 55 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms which is plenty for most people. If you need more power you can always add an external amplifier later down the road. The nice thing about this receiver is that it has 4 pre-outs so adding an amp is a breeze. Just run a set of RCA cables from the pre-out on the back of the receiver to your amp, set the amp gain properly, and away you go.
This receiver also has a ton of features. It supports both Apple Carplay and Android Auto which work flawlessly. I was a little hesitant about spending the extra money on a receiver with these features but I’m glad I did. It’s so convenient being able to use my phone’s maps app for navigation instead of having to fiddle with the built in navigation system which can be a bit clunky at times. And being able to control music playback from my phone using Spotify or Pandora is awesome. The only downside to Carplay/Android Auto is that you can’t access all the features of the receiver while using them since your phone essentially takes over the screen. But that’s a small price to pay for the convenience they offer.
The user interface on this receiver is very good. The 7″ touchscreen is bright and responsive and the menus are easy to navigate. I love that you can customize the wallpaper on the homescreen to whatever you want. My only complaint here is that there’s no physical volume knob which would be much preferred over having to use the touchscreen to adjust volume levels. But that’s a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things.
All in all, I’m very happy with this receiver. It sounds great, has tons of features, and is very easy to use. If you’re in the market for a new car stereo receiver I would highly recommend giving this one a look.

The Boss Audio BV9384NV Double DIN Navigation DVD Player Receiver with Backup Camera is a great product that I would recommend to anyone. The picture and sound quality are both great, and it was very easy to install. The only issue I had was that the volume was a little low, but other than that it has worked flawlessly.
The unit comes with a 6.2″ LCD touchscreen display, which is plenty big enough to see while you’re driving. The navigation system worked flawlessly, and the voice guidance was very clear. The backup camera is a great addition, and it made parking a breeze.
The overall build quality of the unit is very good, and it feels solid and well-made. The included remote control is also a nice touch. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great navigation system.
